Founded in 2012, this is a premier private art museum showcasing Thailand’s modern and contemporary artistic evolution. Housed in a striking five‑storey building designed to filter natural light and create a contemplative atmosphere, the museum preserves the country’s largest private collection of modern art, highlighting traditional Thai expression, surrealist and contemporary experimentation, and global artistic perspectives. Visitors can explore over 800 works across themed floors, including paintings, sculptures, monumental murals, and immersive installations, all set within architecturally impressive spaces that enhance the experience and celebrate Thailand’s cultural heritage.

DIB Bangkok

This new cultural institution in Bangkok marks Thailand’s first major international contemporary art museum. It was founded to realise the vision of a prominent Thai art collector and is housed in a thoughtfully redesigned 1980s warehouse in the Khlong Toei area, where industrial elements are preserved and integrated with contemporary architecture to create a calm, reflective space inspired by the Buddhist concept of enlightenment. The museum’s extensive collection—spanning several decades and featuring works by both Thai and international artists across painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and new media—offers visitors a dynamic dialogue between local creativity and global contemporary art. Across its three floors and 11 gallery spaces, plus a large central courtyard, sculpture garden and unique spaces like the cone-shaped “Chapel,” visitors can experience thematic exhibitions, sensory artworks, and engaging programmes that invite exploration, contemplation, and cultural exchange.
